It's the nature of the internet. People feel 'brave' behind the safety of a keyboard and will happily type things that they would never say of they were face to face with the person.

Ignore them (or pity them for being so intellectually retarded) and move on. The vast majority of people on here are generally nice people as you will find out if you ever meet up with them.
