Water and car washing stuff is a good start, sand in a bucket. not so good

My wife does not wash her Micra, either her father does it or if I get time, I do it. Father-in-law is also a believer in the washing up liquid witll do the job method, funnily enough though the colour is a lot better when I wash it...

Mind you, his washing up liquid is the cheapest he can find from Lidle or Aldi

would never put W/Up liquid in, at worst it would be tesco wash/wax.

I tell a lie though, I am allowed to wash the mondeo if I take it to morridogs and use the jet wash

here's the result (no effects added)

still having trouble with the alloys though not looking as clean as i'd like them & dirt stuck in the bits, see pics below, any tips?

Depending on the time I have, if it's all day
Snow foam and leave for 10 mins.
    Power wash off.
Wash using chemical guys shampoo and lambs wool mit (2 bucket method).
Clay ( once at beginning of year and once before winter).
    Wash again.
Clean wheels using ironx and brush.
    Dry using mf drying towel.
Seal car using CG jet seal.
Polish using dodo juice purple haze.
Clean glass using dodo juice glass cleaner and waffle weave mf.
Dress tyres using CG tyre dressing.
When I do it once a week
    Wash using CG shampoo.
    Dry with mf drying towel.
    Dodo juice quick detailed.
    Dress tryres.
It takes time but worth it

    Looking good!

Id be tempted to try some AG tar spot remover and a toothbrush on those alloys
