    Tattoo?

Thinking of getting a tattoo on my thigh of like my skin ripped open to reveal the inside layout of an engine.

    Good or bad idea?

CAN WE HAVE PICTURES OF YOUR THIGH PLEASE??

    I mean..

    What kind of engine?

    Have you drawn a picture/idea??

On the front of your thigh or side, or back?

I have this as like a basic sketch as the tattooist can add all the detail. Dont want anything too complicated as I think it will just look a mess, especially to people who haven't got a clue about engines.

Cant find any pics of others who have done it so hopefully I will be unique

I want it on the side of my thigh . . . cant do the back as I already have a huge angel (nothing to do with D.Beckham) over my whole of it

Problem you may have is that there is a lot of detail in the engine, like loads of small lines.
I had the same issue, I wanted an "old style clock" on my leg, but the size I wanted it was too small as the detail together will just kinda 'blend together'

Really cool idea, see if you can get the artist to draw up an idea so we can see it

    Yeah, it does sound unique

I thought that but don't mind it being big because want people to see it

Artist is a pure genius, just emailed him. Just don't want it to look stupid really with it being so unique, as it will be seen when i when i go up town or if I wear shorts e.c.t.

Would of thought some sort of drive train/cogs & pulleys and what not would be a better idea, as a metaphor the engine of your body would be in your chest.

Thought that but I just think they would need to much detail thats all and finding it hard to get a picture for the tattooist to go by plus would be a bit plain . . . I understand where you coming from though.
I first though to have it on my side but want it to be seen as will probs cost alot thats all.

Could have it on your side if you went about in crop tops or anything sheer lol.
