    Build Thread - T22MMX

So I started off with 160 Mk 2 as my first MG, quite an upgrade from my little 1.1 clio

This is how I bought it back in February!

On the way back from picking it up the headgasket went , I was told the liners had dropped and there was a high chance of HGF happening soon, either way it was repaired so I had it back on road.

Next few things I wanted doing was to change the headlights to HIDs, get it on coilovers and change the wheels to something a bit more fresh.

Bought some AVO coilovers relatively cheap off a friend, it just needs to be lowered a little bit more but more plans for that later!

And finally, 4000miles later my headgasket went again on my way to Castle Combe. Couldnt of asked for a better time for it to go really as I had two very good people help me source a T16 and parts.

So as it stands now my T16 is now 90% built and ready to drop in, apart from a few little bits which we will pick up along the way.

Fully refurbished head done by myself with no mechanical knowledge was fun, guess I had a good teacher!

And a fully refurbished gearbox with a type b lsd, fully steel caged.

This looks like it could be a good project!

    Will be watching this.

Car looks good on the white alloys.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence.
