    Dyno Run

So, went for a Dyno run today with my 1.4 and results were as expected!

As standard, the 1.4 has 102 bhp and 91.1 lb.ft torque.

    My engine mods:

    Janspeed 4-2-1 Manifold
    Janspeed decat
    Janspeed Inter Pipe
    Janspeed Twin exit backbox
ITG Maxogen Carbon (with lower grill CAF)
    52mm Throttle body
    ZandF remapped ECU

    Results: 124.6 bhp and 106.8 lb.ft torque.

Photos or it didnt happened, right?

    bhp with smooth curve:

I talked to the guy for a while and there is room for improvement. He is going to send me a detailed explanation since i forgot half of what he said!
I think its a pretty decent gain and its very noticeable in the driving! plus, the car sounds great and is more fuel efficient now!! Lot of money spent, true but hey, i got a pretty cool 1.4 to drive now!

I don't mean to be rude, but how much money do all those modifications add up to?

these add up to £1000+ i guess! dont think you are being rude by asking out of curiosity. Again, i know most people will say its a waste of money but is it really? i have what i wanted, i didnt expected 200 bhp out of it and the 1.4 is the car i have and like so im pretty happy with it!

Good gains you've made to be honest. Must be a pretty decent low mileage motor to begin with.

Thanks mate. Yes, my engine has currently 41.8k and was fully serviced last thursday, along with timing belt, water pump and so on. I got it with 35.5k and take very good care of everything or at least i try.

P-s Sorry about the double post but writing in this forum is like writing in stone, once its there the 1st time its there forever!

Getting a 20bhp increase from a 1.4 n/a engine without any major changes to the engine/fuel or intake system and bolt on parts is amazing really wouldnt mind a go in it Mods cost be money to get the Evo to a safe, usable 400bhp from 300bhp its cost around me around 4k so think he needs a well done

Pretty decent gains considering what you've done to it. Nice one! Also good to see someone has actually dyno'd their ZR and posted the results! lol

Think I've just had a crisis, would kill for a standard Evo VII never mind a 400bhp one haha!
