says 4x108 and 17"

i think i need 4x100?
but in the guide thing it says 205/40/17

as you can see on a focus, not sure what kind they are though?

Yes, you do need 4x100 which is the PCD for the ZR hub. 4x108 wont match the studs.
205/40/17 is just the tyre size meaning its 17 inch, 205 width and 40 is the tyre profile.
