105 brake upgrade?!

Hello im new to this but ive owned an mg zr for about a month now and love it, unfortunately due to my age... (18) im not able to get a 160 due to insurance. One thing i would love to put on my 105 is 160 brakes. Im not sure about the rear because i dont want all the fuss on changing the drum but ive heard you are able to do the front with ease. My question is am i able to slam the 160 front brakes (full set) on with ease or will i need some other parts aswell? Please reply asap as i know where some are gettiing sold and are quite cheap. Just buy a 160 rear axal beam with disc and pads very easy to fit if you know what your doing

Welcome to the club.

Both front and rear brakes are fairly easy jobs, just look into it and take your time

I would just stick on a set of 160 front brakes and leave the rear on its own. I never had a single issue using the drums on my old ZR paired with 160 front calipers. The back only does a small amount of the overall braking so you'd never notice the difference on road conditions, even if you were pushing.
