Opposite Lock Stages - 21st of July 2012

We were seeded towards the back again due to no results. This was a multi surface, single venue and the entry was quite good!

With the rear suspension modified it was time to try it again.

Early Saturday morning for Scrutineering.



With it being a multi surface getting a decent suspension setting/tyre choice was difficult. We decided to run slicks and risk the grassy sections as we thought it would be dry by the time we went through at car 60.

The tyre choice was a bad one with everyone else using knobblies. The mud in certain areas was awful and we lost a couple of minutes on the first two stages and was around 50th overall and 10th in class after SS2. We decided to stay on slicks though as it was drying quite quickly.

We made it to the end of SS8 after a trouble free day (except for a slight overheating issue which was easily sorted). We managed to climb to 20th overall and 4th in class and missed out on 3rd by a few tenths.
