Hey bud how easy was the whole loom stuff? I'd love electric mirrors etc in my MG how easy is it to see if I have the right loom pre-installed etc? (P.S. Sorry to bombard with questions lol)

If the loom is already in the car, give yourself 1-2 hours start to finish.
Its literally a case of
1. Fit mirror switch in dash
2. Remove door cards.
3. Remove mirrors
4. Fit electric mirrors.
5 remove non-elec loom from door
6. Fit elec loom into door.
7. Connect the connectors.
8. Refit door card
9. Repeat for other side

Pop the right hand blank panel off by your right knee.
If the looms installed a plug will be hiding behind it

Ah cool all easy enough then I shall have a look tomorrow when I look into the heater issue again lol

Leccy windows is my next big job

I'd love electric windows but heard that is indeed difficult to do :/

Depends if the looms there or not.
If the loom is already in the body (like mine is) then its just a case of swapping out the window winder system for an electric regulator.
The door looms i fitted for the mirrors also have the window section on them forward planning and all that.

Oh I see so if the loom is there for the mirrors then it makes it easier to do the windows well here is hoping that tomorrow i have all the right stuff then just need to get mirrors and electric window stuff

Yea, its more of a challenge of the looms arent there.
You'd need to build them from scratch.
Not impossible (will be doing it myself on the 5dr) but its not as straightforward

Hmm I see, all my money at has to go on a new interior as cant stand the rip in the drivers seat leather held with a lot of duct tape atm to stop it getting worse but its annoy and looks horrid.

Plus I plan on getting a new induction kit and I need a new water pump seal possible new water pump as I have a leak got it booked in garage for 2 weeks tomorrow to have investigated

I've been looking into the best place to have the filter to avoid heatsoak, but it's all budget based
