Yes should be the R65 box you have (upto chassis 720772 im sure) sounds like a synchro fault rebuild or replace are the only options there

Stupid bleeding boxes may as well buy a decent used box rather than rebuild a synced at the price of them.

    Dry Gearbox?

I am having trouble getting into 1st and reverse on occasions and mechanic mates think it could be due to a missing a gear selector box heat shield which has caused the box to dry out (or something)... I can't see anything on a Google search about a heat shield, any ideas where I need to look?

    Cheers All
