Roll cage in a 5 Door

Is it possible to fit a bolt in roll cage designed for a 3 door into the 5 door?

I know anything is possible, but I am aware that there will be a few problems.
The front doors are shorter on a 5 door so the rear cage will sit further back rather than against the B pillar.
This means the mounting points will sit on the floorpan rather than the base of the B pillar will this require extra strengthening?

These are the only problems I can see at the moment, I don't foresee anything else as the rest of the dimensions should be the same.

    Regards,

    Stu.

can't see an issue other than the b pillar not being quite lined up.

Would probably get away with using spreader plates.
It'd be best to have a word with a motorsport place though to be 100%

Being bolt in, it will have spreader plates anyway, but might pay to make them a bit bigger to spread the load a bit more.

I have had a word with Safety Devices and they can only foresee the problems that I have said, as they have not fitted their 3 door cage into a 5 door car.

I was wondering if anyone had actually physically done it on here, as we all know experience is worth it's weight in gold and can't be taught.

I've spoke to them and they said the same as I mentioned before about the roll cage sitting back from the B pillar.
I just wanted to see a picture of where it sits.

    Regards,

    Stu.
