    Snapped starter motor cone.

    Hi all,

Advice required, changed the faulty starter motor on my 2005 ZR 1.4 only to find the end has snapped off and fallen into the gearbox bellhousing, is it a gearbox out job, or just ok to leave in there, or is there any other alternative.
Has anyone else experienced this problem.
Don't really fancy doing a 4hr strip down.

    Cheers

A magnet won't work it's aluminium with a brass insert in the end.
