Okay so recently my Eml light on, checked the code and came up with p1402 egr restricted, car has been remapped and the egr has been blanked off? When the code is cleared it comes back on straight away.. anyone had this problem before or know an easy fix for it?

Found this -

Possible causes
- Faulty EGR temperature sensor
- EGR volume control valve harness is open or shorted
- EGR volume control valve circuit poor electrical connection
- EGR volume control valve leaking or stuck open
