Okay, think I need to replace the HG as losing coolant and having a bit of steam from the exhaust. I will investigate to be sure but if it is which us the best gasket to get? There are also many kits on fleabay including water pump etc, which I will also replace. I would much rather buy from my local supplier so any names of kits or specific HGs would be great.
    Cheers

Before you can choose a HG first you need to get the cylinder head off and check liner heights. If there dropped or uneven a MLS gasket wont last go onto discount mg rover spares web site all the gaskets and info on there. If possible I would use the Payen MLS kit and head bolts
