Whats this? Whats missing?

Hi all just brought my first ZR and on inspecting the engine bay i noticed this strange part. Any help to what it is and or any parts that are missing would be a great help. Thanks

Thats a fan resistor

Thanks, should it not be covered? is there a pipe missing between the air box and the pipe behind the resistor?

I have a pipe that goes under the battery tray and near by the horn (passengers side front), with the fan i have a plastic cover on said picture (mines still new mind you) i would not think much of it unless you got a leak going on.

With if parts are missing, no one would know without more pictures of your car.

Hi thanks for the reply, no leaks just wasnt sure if it should be covered thats all, as for the missing parts it was just from that pic, rest of the car is ok apart from the front ashtray
