    Damn electrics

Ok guys here is one for you! My daughter was out in her ZR120 mkII, when the alarm started sounding, the doors locked. The immobiliser did not kick in so she was able to continue home, when she got there she was able to open the window (still working) and use the key to open the door to get out. The battery was disconnected to kill the alarm but it kept beeping due to the internal battery, it has since been stripped and battery removed, peace at last!

Now I guess you all know the next question, what the #%$* is going on, any suggestions gratefully received.

Most probably your BBUS unit (Battery Backed-up Sounder) get damp with water and made short circuit, so it started to sound. You should take it out, dry it and problem sgou,d be solved. However, you might want to replace it with new one and protect it from water damp again.
