    bcu on A/C zr

    Hi guys

    Just got my relay's for my bcu/ecu? well i got air con and for the life of me i can't get passed the box behind the glove box, the pipes for the A/C are in the way so i can't just pull the filter/box out to get to the bcu/ecu?

    Anyone know how to get to it as window don't work and locking so i need to replace these asap

    If you take the left section with fan motor sure theres 3 10mm's in you should be able to bcu is tight tho.

    It is possible to improve the access to the clip that holds the bracket in place by loosening some of the bolts/brackets holding the air con pipes in the engine bay ; this allows a little more leeway behind the evaporator housing, but it is still very tight and you still need to stand on your head in the passenger footwell. Have a watch of this vid which shows you what to loosen:

    The only way to make it easy is to get the air con de-gassed, and then remove the entire evaporator unit - the SCU is directly accessible with the evaporator housing removed.

    Thanks guys, i'm getting my belts done and the guy said he will take my A/C and pipes out for 40$ so im getting it out, the zr is a 54 plate ,
