Lots of WD40, locking the socket in place and gently twisting the wiper arm in the opposite direction got mine off.

White or chrome I believe. I sprayed mine black, been done about 2 months and still perfect

Iv got some plastic bungs

need a little trimming but fit well used it on mine if you want one ? ( although there in white just use a marker lol )
