    Plastidipped alloys?

Anyone ever plastidipped alloys before? I have a set of 17" straights that me and a mate plan to refurb, I've seen this on the net and thought it might be a good alternative (and cheaper / less hassle)

Anyone ever done it before with good results?

Not sure how well it would hold up when they fit the tyre levers under it to fit new shoes.........

Also technically the tyre would be adhered to an 'easily removeable' none keyed coating. Doesn't sound too safe to me.

if you are looking for a temp colour change plastidip is ok as you can peel it off
if you are looking for a perma fix, spraying/coating is your best bet

If you coated the whole wheel with the tyre off then this would be a problem, but I think most people just spay the wheels with the tyres still on. I recon you would need to re do it everytime you changed the tyres though.

Does anyone know where to order green plasti dip from? I cant seem to find it in green. I am planning to paint a green stripe down my car like the S1600 rally car using plasti dip.
