Just noticed this thread, seemed great from the start but seemed you was asking people to join?

Most are kids driving MG's now and smash them up which is putting most buyers off (even put me off on driving mine now i've passed my test) 6 rear endings in 2 weeks and was under 25's driving like ****s.

is it just a 1 yr over to sign up on the policy? just asking as the other one (knocks) only do this but need a 4k-15k quote taken down, LV is 2,4k and only working part time there is no way i can pay that, (ps, before i got the car it was 1,1k-1,4k on quotes). non will add that i got a disabled child as well yet will add my bro's ex 3 disabled kids to hers?

Ah sorry. The scheme has always preferred phone calls due to its nature - recognising car club members as better drivers based on claims stats. Hence why we don't like rigid online quotes!

Hi John. It's always a bit tricky when you want the quote done via email. There have been many emails between the team and myself just going over your details and the last correspondence was this afternoon. Mondays are always manic but we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Got a email back now and to be honest its not a competitive price its more than LV are asking and tesco, think i'll go else where to insure, plus i've never heard of Mulsanne, seems your company is a comparison site than a real insurance company.

- After being with my current insurer for three years of trouble free motoring, I have now modified the car past a point where they're willing to insure it. (Any mods, at all lol) Spoke to Prestige and XXX regarding a quote, with the mods listed, Prestige have almost matched my renewal from my current insurer which didn't even cover any modifications and have beaten the best quote I could find elsewhere including them as well! XXX couldn't quote me on this occasion but (not) to worry, I'm now happy!

- Very friendly on the phone and went the extra mile to get me a decent quote!
