    central locking faults

    hi all
have been looking around the site for a solution to the problem my son's car has recently developed and found some answers but need some extra help.
The car has the Pektron system, we have 2 fobs which were working ok, recently the fobs stopped unlocking and locking the doors but they still turn off the immobiliser so the car can be started and driven. I checked the fuse under the bonnet and it had blown so changed it and the key fobs started working again temporarily but now they have stopped again (fuse ok)?
When using the key to unlock the car the central locking doesn't work either and the passenger door is locked shut?
I understand that this could be a relay fault? But don't understand why the key won't unlock all the doors and also why the system blew a fuse, could it have anything to do with the door locks? We have checked the common faults that we found on the site ie boot wiring but everything appears ok.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Oh the car is an 04 1.4 3 door. thank you in advance of any help.

    Update

After reading the various threads about this issue we looked again at the wiring in the tailgate and found that it was in a right state so we re-joined and repaired all the damage. We removed the module under the glove box and found that the board was burn out so we assumed that this is not repairable. Luckily we found a local breaker who had the correct parts for the car, after fitting, the car now unlocks as it should and everything works perfectly.
Would like to thank the forum for help with this matter and all the advise we were given, not 100% sure if the original module is repairable but may send it off to Remobilise, see if he can sort it.
    Once again many thanks all.
