    BMC CDA eBay

BMC CDA on ebay, most of you are probably watching it or have seen it already.. haha!

I emailed to ask what size it was, as BMC recommend smaller one for 1.6 and less, and bigger one for 1.6+

    So here is his reply..

    Dear ben,
universal both 7o and 85 fitment-

Iis the bmc the size 70 or 85? (big or small?)
    thanks ben

If it's a proper BMC one it should be 2 sizes? Or is he right in terms of "yes it will fit" but obviously he doesn't care about engine size?

Simosa you said yours was, wasn't it Dan?

I have now received my enclosed induction. It looks big enough but is there a way I can measure a part of it to make sure it's suitable for engine size?

The guy said he wasn't sure, but it was from his 1.9 car

    Nice one!

Well WHEN I FINALLY get my car back I will have a run with the 160 standard box, and then try this to see if it bogs down with power, etc.

    Cheers

Also you said about you made your custom CAF,
Would making one similar to the Peugeot GTI's work?

It's like a funnel, so has a larger area accepting air in, then pipes down to usual size?
