Just bought myself some straights for a decent price. Need a refurb though so need some tips to get them looking good.

Spend the time doing it properly, I rushed my 306 wheels and while it looked alright for a while but they became very grubby and disgusting

As Jay said, there's loads of guides. But long story short, prepping is the most time consuming and important part.

Personally I'd just send the wheels to be professionally done. I had my old straights powdercoated and were mint for the entire time I had them.

Powder coating with a 'normal' colour £30/35 per corner. More complex colour £40/45 per corner

Thats cheaper than I thought. I have contacted a local company today to find out what they will charge plus the costs for a custom exhaust

local company came back to me

Rim fully refurb inside / out / new valves / re-balance £45 per wheel. They also do custom exhausts and reckon a back box for about £150 to give it a tasty sound. anyone have an opinion there (sorry to hijacking the thread whitey)
