Longerz Ongoing Build Thread (Picture Heavy)

    Everybody loves a build thread!

Just thought i'd bundle all my progress pics into one thread and off the other fourms so i can keep track and most importantly, will keep updated at some point

So the the first car i had Pug 306 lost its lower engine loom to a very sharp car park bollard but hey ho so i ended up getting a zr looked at many turned out to be complete wrecks

so having driven the car for a year the dreaded gasket started to go got it all fixed before it went major and had some ass custard running around the engine

managed to find a nice magnex xpower back box pops nicely under heavy acceleration and slowing down past 2.5k

then after doing a 120 miles a day decided the standard zr speakers and head unit sucked so swapped them

fitted the radio out my old car

and got hold of my sub

Got fed up of boring looking and under performing brakes so i ordered some EBC turbo disc and greenstuff pads
    ;

Did a mini service whilst in college so had access to all the ramps and tools

went and swapped the side repeaters as they were all cracked an faded to the focus style ones

Added the rally style flaps help keep the car clean bah blah blah yes it is wonky

next on the list was to get rid of them ugly lights so picked some trophy lights up from ebay £25 posted look so much better then these what ever they are called

then came the callipers and drums to be painted black drums and all red callipers
cleaned all the rust and grime masked up the centre then painted matt black for the new wheel arrival

machine polished the car to remove the swirls and light scratches

then came the tinted heko wind deflectors

so this is how it sat for a few months

then the boss had some carbon wrap left over so he gave it to me so i did the centre console

had the rear 3 windows tinted one down from limo

as i did a lot of night time driving down lanes etc for work and my house i fitted 5K Hids and some osram night breakers h11 fogs

    2013-05-14 19.21.48.jpg

then the colour coded fog covers appeared after seeing dannyzr's decided to get it done £15 from a mobile sprayer we use at work

ripped the interior out to give it a proper clean including the carpets after a female companion decided to drop coffee on the floor

    2012-10-21 17.08.31.jpg

added some bonnet struts from dark ice designs

    Fitted LED's

started have gearbox issues so had a rebuild, new clutch and new new one of these as someone decided to weld abit more material to it

built a new boot floor as the normal one is w**k to say the least

then decided to make a double din dash switch holder finished and fitted just need to finish the carbon fibre on the fascia
    2013-08-22 16.47.57.jpg

after about a year of looking i managed to get some Red ABC Auto Art rear lights
