Hi I'm having troubles with the bonnet not shutting properly. It shuts but the catch won't stay in place until some gentle persuasion ha iv used wd40 also tried a couple of other persuasive methods ha I'm wondering if people have had the same problem and how they sorted it out.

Thanks mate i have sorted the problem out now anyways but yeah thanks it just need gentle persuasion with a hammer ha

Hi All

My bonnet catch return has been sticking just lately.

I have cured the 'stick' with a spray of WD40 in the catch area but i'm aware I shouldn't rely on this stuff for anything other than cleaning.

Once i've given it a soapy rinse down am I safe using silicone spray to lubricate it or is there something else I should use?

I have silicone spray, I don't have (but can buy) lithium grease for example.
