I did a thermostat change last Friday and took me literally 30 minutes. The only problem I had was the O ring seal for some reason didn't seal properly so I lost 5 litres of coolant in 5 seconds!...

I know the T is more reliable, but the K turbo provides more then enough power. Not enough people have done it yet, so reliability at say 220bhp is more or less hit and miss. I would love a T16...

The noise appears to be in and around the injector area. Are there any known problems with injectors on these?

Okay. I'll take a look! When I had my head gasket done, about 6 months ago now, the noise had stopped for a few weeks.

It's had to describe. It's almost like a vibrating sound. If I push hard on it, the noise stops. I'll see if I can get a clip of the noise.

For a a little while, my inlet manifold has rattled. Can hear it outside the car and it's really loud after opening the bonnet. Any idea what causes it? It's been irritating me for ages and after...

Nope! I drove home (half hour journey) going slow to let the engine cool a bit. Smelt better afterwards! Haha! Been perfectly fine since!

You can always buy the PRT kit and fit that. The PRT stat opens at around 80 and helps keep the car much cooler.
