    Thumbs up new member new motor!

    Hi all

    just purchased my MG ZR 2.0TD COMMERCE

    fell in love hard! work has commenced allready and im looking for some advise!

    turbo rebuiding, re-mapping, want to increas the power

    looking for some good old fashioned free advice!

    also let me know what you think of the van! its one of only 400 ever made

    thanks lol! whats you view on re maping the ecu? £175 gets you 30bhp?? i like the sound of that, just concerned about possible damage? also a dump valve? seen one for £175 on ebay im game but would appreciate your input

    If its done correctly then I believe you will have few issues (I can't comment too much, I have a 1.4). Dump valve no ideas.

    There is a some remapping info on this forum (did we forget our login details lol)

    I'd hold off a remap until you've made a couple of other changes.
    decat, less restrictive exhaust, sdi injectors, up to boost then remap.

    it's quite possible to take these to 160(ish) bhp and 250ft/lb torque without too much hassle.

    from what I've heard, a dump valve actually hinders these more than it helps them.

    ive done the decat, how would i go about regarding the less restrictive exhaust, or does the decat cover that? a

    Lots of ways, zorstec, janspeed I think are right, I don't know much about the td, but someone on here will help
