Reversing lights not working and looking for help

Hey guys, so found out today my reversing lights aren't working, have done a little digging around under bonnet and found this loose cable, I can't find where to reattach it and does anyone know if this is the cause or not, if its not anyone know what it is as everything else seems to work well? Its the reverse cable that connects to the gearbox
