trying to get pics on but keeps saying "this is not a valid image file". im no micro nerd so having a bit of trouble sorting this out, any advise from anyone would be greatly appreciated

how are you adding pictures?
are they hosted off site with a link across?

I do mine copying the file path from the source into the URL tab and uncheck the "retrieve file and host" box.

thanks my friend but you may as well have told me that in French im still no wiser lol all I did to get the pics of the seats on was select them from my computer and job done but no joy now just keeps coming up with "this is not a valid image file"

Are you uploading the photos from your pc / phone, or are they on facebook/photobucket/somewhere else?

If you are uploading from 'my computer' the forum doesn't particularly like it as it means using their server space to hold your photos.
The best bet is to use photobucket, upload all your photos there and copy the image link across (photobucket will even give you a copy/paste code next to your photo)
