\r\n Welcome to the team
\n
\nCan i ask how long its been standing? did you do all the checks ? just asking as the engines are prone to corrosion is the coolant is left without being used now and then, saying this from seeing what it does and had it myself.\r\n

\r\n Thanks for the welcome and reply.
\nMy guess it had been there 3 or 4 weeks but just before it was put there it had the head gasket, water pump and belts done. All the coolant is nice and clean still so I should think it***8217;s weathered the storm.\r\n

Hello.
Hi everyone,
My name is Bod. I’ve just bought a 53plate 1.4 105 ZR+ that’s been waiting for me under a tree at the side of the road for ages. It’s purpose is to be my sons first car.
It’s very green and covered in tree bits but I’ve spent all afternoon cleaning the inside and tomorrow I’ll tackle the paint and under bonnet. I have loads of things on a list that need tinkering with and improving including the very suspect brake system.
Just 69,000 on the clock and just £500 out my bank. I drove it home with a huge grin on my face.
See you all around on here soon with some questions perhaps.
