had the MG out yesterday for a bit of a clean and thought this would make a nice picture. 2 iconic badges from manufacturers with a history and heritage of racing and sports cars.

Been a while since I have posted. After saying I was going to keep it standard, the urge has been to great to resist. Nothing OTT (been there and done that with the ZR) but a little more 'subtle':

First was to replace the boring OE oil cap. These are stupidly expensive at over £75 a pop which doesnt include P&P, luckily I found one on on e-0bay for less than £25 (guy bought the wrong one for his car, his loss my gain):

The back end was a bit 'plain', so I bought a new diffuser panel from Alfa and fitted it:

The windows were tinted by the same guys that did the vinyl wrap on the the ZR:

The callipers have been painted and graphics applied and Daz from Locking Vinyl made me some excellent retro silver badges for the wheel centres to cover the full colour badges:

The first pictuyres I posted showed the interior with the original dash. I have since bought another dash and sent it off to Aquagraphix. The first attempt they did turned out purple and gold which although looking stunning didnt work so it went back and 16 coats of red candy and lacquer later this was the result. In normal light it is almost black but as soon as the sun catches it, the colour and graphics just 'pop'. It is so shiny that it is really difficult to get a decent picture:

There have been a few other modifications such as the addition of reversing sensors built into the number plate frame and some stainless steel kick plates with the Giulietta logo engraved in them, custom made red and black mats and a custom tomtom mount but haven't really got any photos of those. Got a few more ideas planned including maybe some work by Aquagraphix.
