Why run it that far when you can connect it into the A pillar wiring loom easier?

Because it's less hassle running it in a straight line and some people don't want to splice into a loom especially if they are not clued up on things

If you're doing it properly you need to splice into the loom at the light. Incorrect connections could cause a fire. Also those with a sunroof will struggle a little. The A pillar loom is the logical place to go into connection, if you're not confident to do it, then don't do the modification at all!

There is no need to hack into looms easyist way to do it is to.chop the light connections off and crimp the mirror and light wired together using spade terminals and refit to the light by all mean feel free to stop arguing about the best way to doit and make a how to guide for people to follow

Sounds like a lot of hassle for minimal benefit to me. The xsara washer jets are on my list for definate. Couple of suggestions from me: Xpower rear diffuser a must if you ask me and some ZS 11 spoke alloys :-)

Ive spoke to Darryl at Motobuild and he said if I got an original he would make a mould, give me back the original and then give me a new one from the mould as well so if anyones interested we could chip in for original and then get a deal off Darryl for copies?

Ah ok lol. Anyone interested in the xpower diffuser get in touch and ill sort out a deal and a price etc. Should work out no more than 90 quid each as long as there at least 2-3 of us. A bargain considering how much they cost plus we will be making it easier for everyone else to purchase one in future as motobuild will be selling on ebay for around 90 quid when mould is done
