    My old Evo 9GT

Thought you might want to see this, just to show how serious I am about modifying cars

She was running almost 650bhp and 500lbft. An extremely quick car.

I think you need to have the right frame of mind to own them. I can see me getting a power trip if I had one lol. it would be broken within moments

Nice one mate ive had 3 Evo's, 1st was a 9 FQ320 got it when was a year old but was messed about like you wouldnt believe buy the main dealer. Never got on with it was some reason and hated the way it handled with the AYC, got rid of it when was 2.5 years old had enough of it had to replace brakes all round, clutch and gearbox went followed by a rear shock exploding and it had only done just over 20,000 miles

Next i got a 9 GT fresh import and unmarked, loved it never had any problems with it and was a bit quicker than the FQ when completely stardard only sold it as was to good to rip apart from trackdays

Then i got the 7 RS Sprint just as a trackday car, had endless fun in this but as its only ever been tracked etc (turbo and clutch both failed before it was 8 months old lol) its whole life, looks a bit ropey now but its still on its original engine and drivetrain which has never been rebuilt so hasnt done bad i guess as it has a lot of mods with real anti-lag/launch control done through a MoTec M800 running 400/400ish
