Should be sorted now, we had a spam attack from a site all using the same email domain.

I've banned that domain from registering now, so should be all gravy. Please report any threads you see crop up

Ive been deleting threads and banning them all... amazing hiw they get through the security, maybe a change of security questions.

Bots are back!

I've blocked the email address domain they are using to sign up with but it only works on new accounts now being made so the existing ones will crop up for a day or two until they are all blocked.

Yeh no worries, just doesn't look good when its every post on front page =[ Its the only problem the rest of the site is spot on

Might be worth putting member activation on when you're online? Seem to be coming in quick

I'm thinking member activation may be the way to go, just wanted sign up to be quick and easy but sadly spam bots ruin that!

Its pretty much the only fool proof way If they can get bots to bypass so much activation you would think the posts they make would be constructed half decent lol
