This weekend I've given the car it's last clean of year and took a few random pics afterwards. Now the car is away for the winter and away from the gritters.

The brakes aren't actually rusty as they appear in the above pic, that's just after washing. I did drive the car too clear the brakes off.

That's it away now until the gritters naff off. although it will come out again at Xmas for when I fit my Dark Ice Designs rear strut brace

1.3 Nissan Micra for me now!

Went to the MG-R South-West meet in it, trying to keep up with Dazzer, then drove back home.

Ordered carbon fiber for the back of the mirrors, sat at work trying to find what car to get bigger brakes off and see what i need for a nice engine conversion.

    Thanks Danny

It is a hard time of year when you care about your car. Last year I decided a cheap little Micra for commuting in was an essential lol! Maybe I'm nuts I dunno, but I think these cars are worth preserving.

Here's a list of what I've done over the past week while I had a bit of time between jobs

Paint calipers and disc centres with black hamerite
    Adjust hand brake
Remove centre consol, seats and carpet
    Repair seat cover clips
Dry carpet and replace firewall grommet and seal
Remove speakers and crossovers ready for refit with sub/amp combo
Replace passenger interior door handle as Chrome coating was coming away and sharp
    Replace vapour barriers/door water shedders
Replace missing screws for heater surround
    Re fit handbrake Surround
    Change door cards
Tidy elec window wiring (previous retro fit job)
    Fit exhaust trim
    Repair side repeater wiring
Repair wiring loom at boot hinge.
Solder in new connectors for seatbelt pre tensioners
Remove and replace/ retime the fuel injection pump belt.
