05 rover 25 oil

Hi

Would anyone know what oil a 05 rover 25 takes, replaced my engine last year with a 36k engine from a 25 but i'm thinking its not the same oil as my zr was 10/40 as its like its not lubing and can hear its getting louder, i've had the head refurbed for a HG change and all seems fine, really clean head and block but its like metal scraping.

I always use 5w40 fully synthetic in all my K Series but I wouldn't think oil will help. It's not the cam belt cover rubbing is it had this few times

Thanks for replying john, we heard the noise real bad when we was waiting on the back window seal to cure, the cover was rubbing but when we moved it the bigger noise was still there but seems top end, like metal on metal but i've had the head refurb'ed
